GreaterSport takes the welfare of children and young people very seriously and is committed to achieving the nationally recognised 'Standards for Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport'. These Standards provide a framework for all those involved in sport to help them create a safe sporting environment for children and young people and protect them from harm.
GreaterSport is grateful for the support of the Child Protection in Sport Unit in working towards the Standards, and to date has achieved the Intermediate Standard. Our aim is to achieve the Advanced Standard during 2008.
