Greater Manchester Sports Partnership is not a grant-making body, and does not have any funds of its own which are available for clubs or individuals. However, part of our role is to help clubs and individuals to access funding which is available from other organisations, as well as channelling funding from other sources through the community sports networks across Greater Manchester.
Below is information on funding which you may find useful. We are developing this page, so check back regularly for new funding information.

Greater Manchester Sports Fund
Since the launch of the Greater Manchester Sports Fund in June 2005 many young people from Greater Manchester have benefited from financial support to help them progress in their sporting lives. The fund is run in partnership with the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA) and fund manager The Community Foundation for Greater Manchester. We are pleased to confrim further investment and announce the date for the next funding year below.
Greater Manchester Sports Fund helps aspiring young sportsmen and women through the support invested by AGMA, by individual donors, corporate partners and other grant-giving trusts. The fund works with National Governing Bodies of Sport and Local Authority Sports Development Officers to identify young athletes in need of financial support to help them to achieve their sporting potential. This intervention can often be the difference between a talented athlete staying with their chosen sport or quitting.
