Under the guidance of the Director of Student Rugby League, you will be required to oversee the Young People Volunteer Programme across the country.
Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 p.a.
Base: Hudderfield
The NYVM will be expected to maximise the capacity of volunteer involving organisations through training and support and assist in the development of quality opportunities for young people. You will also help to evaluate the community impact of youth volunteering.
In order to be successful you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of managing and working with volunteers (especially young people)
- An understanding and ability to support youth-led action
- An understanding of the voluntary section and policies and legislation affecting volunteers
The appointment will be made subject to an enhanced CRB check.
