Job role: I support the development of place-based work within localities and connecting learning across GM and nationally. I work with system partners nationally, regionally, and locally to create the conditions to increase activity levels through a person-centred, place-based, whole-system approach.

Date joined: July 2019

Professional background: I began my professional journey in the fitness industry, with roles as a fitness instructor and personal trainer. I started my own sports coaching enterprise before serving as a primary school sports coordinator, working as a School Games coordinator for Kent County Council, coordinating a programme for exercise referral, and most recently, the role of Active Ageing Lead at Greater Manchester Moving.

My educational background includes a first-class degree in Physical Activity and Physical Education obtained from Canterbury Christ Church University.

Fun fact: In 2015 I (accidently) hit Paloma Faith in the head with a placard at an International Women's Day March.
