Sport England North West are looking to develop an online catalogue of all the good work that primarily aims to increase participation in Sport amongst “hard to reach” young people and directly supports the 5 Every Child Matter Outcomes. Sport4Life have been commissioned to undertake the work, and are currently asking for your help in collecting this information. Please see the information below from Sport4Life.
The aim of this on line resource is not only for our Sports Partners to learn from each other but to support the development of Local Borough Children and Young Peoples Plans, in particular relating to the successful delivery of “Positive Activities for Young People”. This regional resource will also hopefully be a useful tool for Local Authorities in the development of their “Local Youth Offer” response to the Section 6 Education and Inspections Act (PAYP), currently out to consultation.
We also welcome the opportunity to show case and celebrate all the good work that is taking place by sector.
Therefore we are kindly requesting you to look at the types of initiatives you are delivering /the services being offered and let us know of this good work by completing the attached template.
We are actively encouraging responses from a wide range of organisations including local authorities, community partners, voluntary sport, private sector and so on.
