I am responsible for supporting the development of Sport and Physical Activity Alliances (SPAAs) across Greater Manchester. These alliances will be set up in each of the 10 local authorities and will be made up of local delivery agents to coordinate activities on sport and physical activity. My role is to ensure that the SPAAs are informed about what other partners and organisations (e.g. volunteers, NGBs, schools) can contribute to overall plans. I will also work with other County Sports Partnerships and Sport England to share best practice regarding SPAAs. |
