| What you do | The role of the coach development officer is solely aimed at supporting and assisting the coach - any work taken on must be coach-led. The coach is encouraged to create a pathway to enhance their coaching with Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and a Continuous Personal Development (CPD) plan.
The Coach's CPD will provide a number of resources to help coaches develop and improve their coaching. It will help coaches think about their current coaching practice, what improvements they can make and what actions they can take to carry out these improvements. It will also complement the development that takes place at coaching courses and workshops, supporting the coach to develop actions to apply newly applied knowledge. |
