I Can Lead

This award aims to build leadership skills through physical activity and volunteering experiences and uses a format that is easy for teachers to implement and manage. Click here for more details.

Play Maker award

The course aims be an introduction to leadership for children 9yrs+. It aims to help learners develop leadership skills such as organisation, communication and teamwork, as well as helping to develop confidence and self-esteem. Click here for more details.

Young Leader Award (age 9+)

As above and also helps learners develop leadership skills such as organisation, communication and teamwork, as well as building self confidence and self esteem as they take on responsibility of leading peers. Click here for more details.

Go Lead

Go Lead has been designed to support adults in a variety of different settings including community groups, primary and secondary schools, uniformed organisations and sports clubs that are affiliated to the local authority. Click here for more details.

Level 1,2,3 Award in Sports Leadership

Practical qualifications teaching generic leadership skills. Learners must demonstrate their ability to lead others.The qualifications offer progression from Level 1 (age 13+) to Level 3 (age 16+), enabling sports leaders to expand their knowledge and qualifications year on year. Level 1,2 Award in Dance Leadership

The courses teach generic leadership skills such as organisation, planning, communication and teamwork through the medium of dance. Click here for more details.

Level 2 Community Sports Leadership

Level 1 Preparation for Event Volunteering

School Sport Organising Crews

School Sport Organising Crews (SSOC) are groups of young people in a Primary school who join together to lead the planning and delivery of school sport clubs and intra-school competition programmes in their school. Click here for more details.

Step into Sport Volunteer Passport

An online system which gives young people the opportunity to log and record their volunteering hours and experiences. They are linked to a mentor within their school and will receive certificates and other rewards to recognise and acknowledge the level of volunteering that they have undertaken.
