Make your club more inclusive

Raise FREE funds for your club with easyfundraising 

We’ve teamed up with easyfundraising, to give our GreaterSport member clubs access to an unlimited source of free funding: raise funds simply by shopping online.

easyfundraising is the UK’s biggest retail fundraising platform connecting over 1 million supporters with 100,000 good causes, including over 14,000 sports causes who have raised over £2.3m between them.

A donation is collected every time people connected with the club or group shop online, for everything from fashion and groceries to hotels and insurance.

This is a completely free and highly effective way for a club to raise money which they can invest in coaching programmes, facilities, kit and travel.

All of our clubs can get raising easily…

1. Sign up your club via

2. Then tell the club community to sign to sign up in support. You all then log in to easyfundraising everytime you shop online via a computer, tablet or mobile device.

3. Click out to your chosen retailer, shop as normal and the club gets a free donation from the retailer - easy!

Sport England's Community Asset Fund is a programme dedicated to enhancing the spaces in your local community that give people the opportunity to be active.

In a recent GreaterSport Club survey, clubs across Greater Manchester said that finding funding to upgrade ageing facilities was a priority to them.

There are a number of things Sport England want to achieve with the Community Asset Fund, but importantly they want to help local clubs and organisations to create quality and financially sustainable facilities that benefit their community for years to come - which may mean providing help to get things up and running too.

Leigh Genesis FC is a vibrant, inclusive, integrated and sustainable club offering football to male and female players. Participants range from four years old to 60 years old. 

Genesis also won the Club of the Year at the 2016 Wigan 'Believe Sports Awards' in recognition of their outstanding hard work and commitment.
