NBA comes to Manchester GB Women v Atlanta Dream

 The Womens National Basketball Association (WNBA) are coming to Manchester on the 29th May 2011!!

The Standard Life Great Britain Women’s basketball team will play the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA at the Manchester Evening News Arena as part of WNBA Live – Manchester 2011.

The event builds upon the recent excitement of the NBA London Games and will be the first ever WNBA game played in Europe.

The Atlanta Dream are the defending Eastern Conference champions of the WNBA which, in its 15th Season, is the most successful women’s professional league in the world. The Dream will face Britain’s national team which will compete in 2012.
