Manchester United Foundation

Manchester United Foundation was formed to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of Manchester United’s pioneering adventure into Europe in 1956.  It was set up to provide a real and lasting legacy for today’s youth in memory of Sir Matt Busby’s team – the famous Busby Babes.  The Foundation uses the passion for Manchester United to educate, motivate and inspire young people to build a better life for themselves and improve the communities they live in.   The Foundation delivers football and skills coaching, personal development and life changing experiences, providing young people with opportunities to change their lives for the better.  Through football, we encourage young people to develop as players and more importantly as people.

The Foundations Goal is to educate, motivate and inspire future generations to build better communities for all, and has a Mission to channel the worldwide passion for Manchester United to influence positive change within communities by developing unique and relevant partnerships, empowering young people through the delivery of innovative and educational programmes and developing greater understanding of social issues through education. The values of the Manchester United Foundation are responsibility, respect, achievement, excellence, investment and passion.
