Head to the Arcadis Great CityGames Manchester on Friday 26 May and see world-class athletics in the heart of the city. The event, which is completely free to spectate, is held in a pop-up athletics arena in Albert Square and on a specially constructed track on Deansgate.

This year the track has moved to a new location on Deansgate between Peter Street and Great Bridgewater street. Some of the world’s best athletes including Team GB’s Greg Rutherford, Jonnie Peacock and Asha Philip, will compete alongside international superstars. The innovative event showcases athletics in an unique way, providing an up close and personal experience for spectators.

The event is completely free to spectate, and no tickets are required. Come down to Albert Square from 5PM and the track on Deansgate from 5:30PM. If you’re planning on bringing the kids, a special family area has been created to make sure budding young Olympians get the best view.
