Women in Sport - Research and Insight service

Women In Sports research and insight service is a one stop shop to help access, understand and apply research aimed at encouraging more girls and women into physical activity and sport. For 33 years Women in Sport has been developing insights and sharing knowledge with the sport sector and beyond.
Women In Sport provides a wide range of case studies, reports and key statistics to view for free. Reports often provide strategies and recommendations that can be implemented to encourage women and girls further within sport.

Workshops provide a learning environment that explores the research that has been conducted, the findings of such research and finally putting the learnings into practice.
Women in Sport provide three foundational, three hour workshops that give an introduction to engaging women and girls in sport:
- Re-Thinking Sport for Women (CPD Standards Certified)
Shows attendees how they can develop their strategic approach, programming and delivery and marketing and communications for women.
- Re-Thinking Sport for Girls
Shows attendees how they can apply the learning to develop their strategic approach, programming and delivery and marketing and communications for girls.
- Unlocking Influencers – What Sways Women to Play Sport?
Supports attendees to uncover opportunities to leverage role models and key influencers to better engage with women and girls.
All workshops encourage discussion and interaction and are suitable for staff and their partners at a range of organisations, such as:
- Sport National Governing Bodies
- Local Authorities
- County Sport Partnerships
- Education partners
- Corporate, commercial and not for profit organisations working to deliver sport and physical activity
