Being part of the Sport Makers programme will bring the Olympic and Paralympic values to life in your club.

The Sport Makers programme is recruiting 2,000 volunteers from across Greater Manchester. These are people who feel inspired by sport and want to help sport grow in their local community. All Sport Makers will be invited to an inspirational workshop where we will make sure they know what to expect as a volunteer and help them to find the right placement for their individual skills and experience.

Some examples of the kind of roles Sport Makers would be ideal for include; helping to organise a tournament, a festival, a league, supporting club sessions with a qualified leader or coach, helping with a participation event like a fun run or open day and many more.
