It is a partnership venture between Bury Council’s Sports Development Team, Bury Leisure facilities and Knight Kavanagh Page who have offered their services and a financial contribution to help get the idea off the ground.

The scheme provides, free access to training facilities at Bury Leisure sport centres and/or funding (up to a maximum of £250 per athlete) to assist with coaching, competition, equipment and travel costs. To be eligible to apply athletes must live in the Borough of Bury; pay Council Tax to Bury Council; be aged 12 to 25 (9 to 25 for gymnasts, 12 to 35 for athletes with a disability) and participate at a performance level in a Sport England approved sport.
