Research & Insight
With the release of the first Active Lives Survey in January, we have looked at how active Greater Manchester is.
The percentage of inactive people (25.2%) is similar to National levels (25.6%). Whilst the percentage of active people (62%) is slightly higher than National levels (60.7%). This suggests a bigger gap between those that are inactive and those that are doing 150 minutes per week. This equates to 554 thousand inactive people and 1.36 million active people in Greater Manchester.
Across the Greater Manchester Boroughs what does this look like?
