England Basketball Club Accreditation Scheme
It is vital that we look seriously at how we plan for the future development of our clubs and our sport. The EB Club Accreditation Scheme aims to support clubs in finding additional resources to aid long-term sustainability of club basketball.
It can be utilised to justify applications for funding (Awards for All, RAF Club Development) and to take to potential partners (local authorities, schools, youth organisations) to demonstrate the club’s current strengths (where are we now?) and how with more funding and / or additional partners they will be able to provide enhanced opportunities within the sport (where do we want to be?).
There is significant work to do to move from 2 Star to 3 Star, and 3 Star to 4 Star status, and the guidelines to application highlight specific criteria in terms of coaches, officials and registered players that must be in place if they are to continue to progress. It is also an excellent tool for monitoring progress and working with partners, England Basketball and local development staff on the future development of a club.

As you can see from the information on the links above there are four areas of Clubmark. Each area requires the club to draw up a number of documents to meet the criteria. This can be made easire by downloading these documents and simply adopting them with you clubs name at the top.
