The Netball Superleague is the top netball league within the country and was started in 2005-2006. Shown weekly on Sky Sports, the Netball Superleague culminates in play offs and the Grand Final, staged in May.
Premier Leagues 1 and 2 were introduced the National League Netball structure in 2006-2007 season with ten teams competing in each division. Promotion and relegation occurs between the leagues at the end of the season, and play offs between the bottom teams in the second division and the top sides from the regional leagues are also held at this point.
