The Greater Manchester Sports Awards will take place in March 2008, and will reward efforts between January 2007 and December 2007. The nominations process is now a year round process, in order to reflect the seasonality of some sports. The deadline for nominations is 31 December 2007.
The Greater Manchester Sports Awards will take place after the borough Sports Awards, and winners of these Awards will be put forward to win the Greater Manchester Award.
The categories are: Coach of the Year, Club of the Year, Volunteer in Sport of the Year, Unsung Hero in Sport Award, Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year, Sports Achiever of the Year.
