Multi Sports Coach

Bury School Sports Partnership is looking for a dedicated, motivated and enthusiastic Level 2 Multi-Sport Coach who will inspire and engage the next generation of sporting talent in Bury and the surrounding areas.

Bury School Sports Partnership provide sports services to schools and communities and this is a unique opportunity to be part of our growing programme, which gives pupils the chance to flourish and develop in a rewarding and exciting environment. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest level of customer care, so in addition to your coaching responsibilities, you will be expected to build and develop relationships within our schools. All our coaches deliver to the National Curriculum requirements and are continually supported to develop their range of skills and talents. Applicants must have:
  • Up to date DBS
  • NGB L2 qualification or above. Especially looking for Hockey, Netball, Basketball and Rugby
  • Indemnity Insurance
  • First aid and child protection certificate
  • Applicants will also need to travel to and from venues - so access to personal transport is essential
Successful candidates will be requested to deliver a practical session, attend an interview and bring original copies of the above. You will be employed on a self-employed basis, which may include some school holidays. Sessions are paid on a half day basis which is extremely competitive and following a satisfactory probationary period will be increased further. Additional opportunities are also available on stand-alone pre and after school clubs as well as half terms.
