Are you committed to increasing sustainable travel use and wish to use your engagement and persuasive skills to work with others to achieve this? Do you want to work in a fast-paced, varied environment, harnessing a great team spirit?

As a Sustainable Journeys Delivery Officer you will encourage, engage and influence a wide range of audiences across Greater Manchester including workplaces, organisations and communities to manage and deliver a variety of positive long-term travel behaviour change interventions.

In this role, you will research best practice and employ creative solutions, identifying the correct package of interventions for each audience, ensuring they are delivered to agreed timescales and budget.

You will also identify opportunities for promoting travel behaviour change to maximise the impact of other transport investments and ensure that our delivery programmes are aligned with other strategic deliverables such as air quality and congestion.

You will have significant experience of bringing about long-lasting change and a track record in effective and successful partnership working. You will be enthusiastic and driven and be used to working to tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.

If you would relish the prospect of being part of a positive and progressive team, working hard to increase levels of sustainable travel behaviour, and believe you have the skills and expertise to make a real difference to the delivery of our programme then we look forward to hearing from you!
