Nicola is an England and Great Britain hockey player from Oldham, Greater Manchester. Having first picked up a stick at the age of seven, she rose through the ranks, making her first senior England debut in June 2009. She has competed at two Olympic Games winning a bronze medal at London 2012 and was part of the 2016 gold medal winning team in Rio. Since Rio, Nicola has focused on "winning after winning", both on the pitch as she prepares for Tokyo 2020 and by using her platform to inspire future generations.
