Time on board - September 2015 to present

Why I joined the GreaterSport board - Whilst in my professional life I tend to deal with the issues relating to professional sport, I understand the importance of sport and physical activity to our local communities.

I was attracted to join the Board to be part of such an important organisation which is pivotal to making real change to the people of Greater Manchester. In a landscape of devolution, I believe the localities and GreaterSport can make a meaningful difference to the level of physical activity of local people, which in turn is likely to benefit their mental and physical wellbeing, social inclusion and reduce the burden on the public services. I am pleased to be part of such a dynamic and forward thinking Board.

Personal Interests - I enjoy boot camp exercise (even though I was mortified about rolling around in mud initially).
