Job role: To understand what works to improve the inactive population’s activity levels, and why. I produce digestible summaries of existing evidence to be shared with stakeholders in appropriate and engaging formats. I also work to encourage evidence-based practice and measure how evidence is being adopted.

Professional background: After conducting research for a behaviour change agency, translating research into actionable insights, I was particularly interested in the wider determinants of health and so studied for a Master’s in Public Health.
Fun fact: I originally wanted to do clinical research, but after I dropped my carefully grown DNA sample down the sink, I realised I was too clumsy for a career in labs.
