Job role: To develop an effective communications plan, develop a compelling narrative and set communications standards for the GM Moving programme. The plan will include supporting behaviour change, campaigns and social movement, high quality community engagement, events and production of materials.

Professional background: I started my career in the press office at the BBC, moving to Whitehall where I spent over ten years in central government department communications, press office and marketing teams. I’ve since worked in a variety of marcomms roles across local government, the NHS, the police, not for profit and charity organisations. My career has been built around behaviour change and social marketing challenges. I’ve held senior leadership positions in several organisations.
Fun fact: I used to compete for Sale Harriers as a sprinter and held a number of junior records.
