Public Health England have launched a simple illustration to highlight the benefits of being more physically active. The infographic shows how active adults should be to keep healthy and what sort of exercise can contribute to that. The headline is that adults should be moderately active for 150 minutes per week to benefit their health.

Change4Life is a nationwide campaign to support people to take more healthy choices using simple steps to make a change. It is worth looking at the Change4Life website which is packed full of advice and simple tips on eating well, moving more and living longer.

Getting children healthy and active from birth is absolutely vital, but more importantly it can be fun for both the parent and the child. The Change4Life campaign includes a dedicated section called Start4Life which contains lots of invaluable advice and information on giving your child the best start in life.
