Job role: To work alongside localities within Greater Manchester and wider partners to create transformational change, as part of the Local Pilot. The Local Pilot tests approaches using insight, person centred engagement, behaviour change and whole system approaches, to reduce inactivity and secure sustainable increases in engagement in physical activity and sport.

Professional background: I graduated with a degree in Recreation Management in 2003. I then went on to work abroad in both Japan and Spain before pursuing my career in sport and physical activity. I started as a school sports coach in Liverpool, before moving to GreaterSport in 2009 as Basketball Development Officer. Since then I have held a number of positions including, Coach Development Manager, Workforce Lead and most recently the Strategic Lead for the Local Pilot.

Fun fact: I once did a bungee jump over TGI Fridays car park in Leeds, as part of a bet with my university housemates.
