Venue: Lincoln 1, Methodist Central Buildings, Oldham Street, Manchester UK, M1 1JQ

Partners working together on Greater Manchester (GM) Moving wish to invite providers to a collaboration and engagement event, as we continue to develop the GM Moving System Leadership programme.

The aim is to provide a high-quality leadership programme to develop the skills required of leaders within the whole system to enable the success of GM Moving. The leaders we are supporting and developing come from a range of organisations, across the whole system.

This engagement event is an opportunity for interested providers to learn more about GM Moving and our vision for this movement, to develop an understanding of what GM Moving are trying to achieve, and to consider their potential contribution to it.

GM Moving are engaging with a range of organisations at this stage, to seek creative input on the programme brief. This will help us to vision, scope and shape some exciting and innovative plans for this work. GM Moving recognise that we don’t know what we don’t know!

It is also an opportunity for you to get to know potential collaborators, for this and other work.

GM Moving recognise that it is an unusual approach; to invite ‘competitors’ into a room to collaborate ahead of a procurement process. However, we have taken this creative dialogue approach with other work with great outcomes. Like-minded people have entered into the spirit of it. They have collaborated and shared, which has benefited the quality of the brief, the work and the relationships everyone has developed along the way.

Contract details: The contract term will commence in Autumn 2019 and run until 2021. There is the possibility to an extension to the work beyond this [NB: the GM Moving 75% target is 2025].

It is proposed that there will be one contract awarded to cover the whole of GM Moving System Leadership programme, but it unlikely that all of our needs can be catered for by one organisation alone. As such, we will welcome consortia bids and other collaborative approaches.
