We have an exciting position available for a Freelance Postural Stability Instructor. The aim of the Postural Stability programme is to support people at risk of falling by improving their balance, strength and stamina and help to maintain independence.

This role will be an integral part of the Active Lifestyles team and the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of postural stability classes across the city. This will include data inputting and other administration associated to the post.

The Freelance Postural Stability Instructor will also be responsible for contributing towards monitoring, evaluation, and reporting requirements for the postural stability service.

In addition to consistently demonstrating SCL’s core values, the successful candidate will be expected to be enthusiastic, motivated and have the ability to communicate to colleagues and customers at all levels, and have an interest in physical activity and the benefits it can have to those being referred to the project. They will be a dynamic member of the Active Lifestyles Team and be willing to contribute to the development and expansion of the project whilst maintaining a high-quality service which follows best practice.
