Swimming Teacher

To be responsible for planning and delivering learn to swim sessions to children and adults.

£13.30 per hour @ 52 weeks £13.30 per hour @ 35 weeks for school swimming lessons.

Essential qualifications:

• SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming Desirable skills
• A minimum of Level 2 swimming teacher qualification
• A sound knowledge of the National Curriculum swimming programme
• Knowledge of water safety and personal survival
• The ability to relate and communicate with people of all ages and deal with associative issues and situations
• An understanding of child development
• The ability to be well planned
• The ability to be flexible
• The ability to monitor, evaluate and be prepared to change plans where necessary
• The ability to keep an accurate record
• The ability to work on your own initiative and to work as part of a wider team
