A wide-ranging shortlist reflects the breadth and influence of ukactive’s membership, with incredible examples of how the sector has rebuilt over the past year, since reopening from lockdown during the pandemic.

In Greater Manchester the following have been nominated and shortlisted;

  • Active Tameside in the Digital Transformation Award and the Diversity & Inclusion Award. Their Tameside Wellness Centre in Denton has been shortlisted in the Centre of the Year category.
  • Life Leisure in the Activation Award category (specifically for the Brinnington Maps project) and the Generation Active Award.
  • Your Trust in the Generation Active Award.

The awards are taking place in Birmingham, on 30 June, following the Active Uprising conference.
