In June 2023 over 200 people from across the various action networks, partnerships and task groups in Greater Manchester (GM) came together to start to connect our work on social justice and climate justice.

In the blistering heat at Freight Island we heard about work taking place across GM to end food insecurity, tackle homelessness, fix the digital divide, provide good employment and achieve carbon neutrality by 2038.

Our collective call to action of this network of networks gathered at the event led to the inception of ‘GM Networks Connect: the hive for sustainable social action across Greater Manchester’.

Join us on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM for an exciting in-person event where we will connect again and build together. This event is all about fostering meaningful connections and laying the groundwork for future collaborations through GM Networks Connect.

Whether you are a long standing member of the established networks and groups or just want to hear more to maybe get involved, this is the perfect opportunity to expand your network and meet like-minded individuals in Greater Manchester with a passion for sustainable social action.

Throughout the morning, you can expect engaging sessions, inspiring speakers, and networking opportunities that will provide valuable insights and practical knowledge.

Don't miss out on this chance to forge new connections, exchange ideas, and get ready to lay the foundations together at this next ‘GM Networks Connect’ event!

The full agenda will be announced soon, so book your free tickets now.
