Greater Manchester (GM) Moving are looking for support with the GM Walking sub-brand as we continue our work to enable the greatest number of people to routinely walk or wheel in the city region.

The GM Walking brand was created in 2019 as a public-facing sub-brand of GM Moving to support less active and inactive people to walk or wheel more often and organisations who provide, or could provide, help to this group.

Now, GM Moving want to ensure that our capacity and resources to create and publish content on the GM Walking channels are focused in the right areas and enhances the work done by our partners.

We want to gain complete understanding of our audience, the wider walking landscape and what content works well, or not, to ensure the most impactful content creation and delivery process.

We believe, to solve this challenge, we need a review to provide us with clarity of purpose and recommendations, grounded in evidence and insight, which allow us to give our audience what they need and in a way they expect.

Find out more in the brief document.

Closing date for submissions: Friday 15 September

Project kick-off: October

Please contact Louise Robbins, Strategic Lead Walking and Active Environments for any queries relating to the walking and wheeling work.
