Today, Chris Boardman, Chair of Sport England, set off on his 8-day bike ride from Manchester to Paris.
Chris is riding to promote green action and to galvanise the physical activity and sport sector ahead of the Olympic Games in the French capital.
To coincide with the ride, every sports club and community group in England is invited to sign the Going for Green Pledge to commit to becoming a more sustainable organisation.
Here at GM Moving we are passionate about building movement back into everyone’s lives by doing what’s right for both people and planet. So, we have signed the Going for Green pledge and in doing so have pledged to promote environmental sustainability through our every move, as individuals, an organisation and as system leaders.
