In response to the Black Lives Matter movement, we have challenged ourselves to do more to address the inequalities faced by ethnically diverse communities across Greater Manchester and within the sport and physical activity sector.

GreaterSport are committed to:

  • working with partners to address the under-representation of Black communities within the sport and physical activity sector
  • reducing the ethnicity gap in activity levels
  • gaining greater understanding of the needs of Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities
