Inspiring individuals from communities in England have the opportunity to be selected as batonbearers at the Commonwealth Games in July 2022. There will be 2022 batonbearers for the domestic (England) segment with nominations closing on 14th February.
Inspiring individuals from communities in England have the opportunity to be selected as batonbearers at the Commonwealth Games in July 2022. Batonbearers for the domestic (England) segment of the Queen’s Baton Relay (4-28 July 2022) are selected through public nominations.
The public nomination process launched on 11th January 2022 and will close on 14th February 2022, allowing 4 weeks for the public to make their nominations via the website.
Selection Criteria
All Batonbearers will be required to meet the following selection criteria. The criteria are intended to reflect a broad cross-section of society and encourage nominations that align with the themes of the Relay.
