To mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee this year, Sport England have launched a new funding pot offering between £300 and £10,000 to community organisations in support of new projects that use sport and physical activity to bring communities together and tackle inequalities.
"We’re excited to be able to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a fund designed to help people to come together and get moving" - Tim Hollingsworth, Sport England's Chief Executive.
Sport England want to hear particularly from organisations whose project purpose is to support people who may otherwise have less opportunities to be active, such as those living in areas of disadvantage.
Funds are available for project costs such as facility hire and coaching, as well as for small capital improvements and volunteer training.
Organisations who haven't applied for funding before will need to register before submitting an application.
Further information, including details on the application process, can be found here.
