Trafford Council is working in partnership with ParkPlay to engage residents in Trafford in free weekly sessions to get them active and moving more. We are looking for volunteers to activate sessions in Partington, Sale West, Broomwood, Longford, Old Trafford and Sale Moor.

If you could spare a couple of hours each Saturday to help others get active please get in touch to register your interest by emailing [email protected] you can also find out more about ParkPlay here ParkPlay – #MeetMovePlay (park-play.com).

PlayLeaders are the people who deliver ParkPlay on a Saturday. They are the ones leading ParkPlay from the front each week. PlayLeaders have a number of responsibilities:

  • Set-up, checking spaces are safe and equipment is ready
  • Welcome ParkPlayers to the session
  • Run the activities for the session
  • Create a fund and inclusive environment
  • Complete the session register and report any incidents

If you’re a people person and a community champion or someone interested in sport, physical activity, and movement, we’d love to hear from you.
