GreaterSport is committed to promoting the safety, welfare and equality of children, young people and adults at risk engaged in sporting activities across Greater Manchester.
We aim to contribute to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk by;
The CPSU have a wide range of available resources to support those who work with children, young people or adult at risk. Visit their Resource Library to access a wide range of materials, including sample policies, best practice guidance, webinars and more.
Whilst the sport and physical activity sector has put in place a range of practices to reduce risk, it’s everyone’s responsibility to make sure any concerns are highlighted to the appropriate bodies.
If you have any concerns about the safety of a child then please use the contact information below. No matter what kind of concern you have, if you are at all worried then it is important to act.
As well as using one of these options, or in cases were you don’t feel someone is in immediate danger, but do have concerns you can also raise a concerns with us at GreaterSport. Through our processes we’ll make sure that it’s raised with the appropriate body. You can do this whether you are worried about the health or wellbeing of a child, young person or adult at risk, or equally about the behaviour of an adult.
